NOTE to Parents

Regular handwashing is one of the best ways to remove germs and prevent food contamination. Thorough handwashing with soap and water can protect you and others from a range of infectious diseases including food poisoning. Encourage your child to regularly was his/her hands:
. Making sure to practice what you preach. Wash your hands before eating or cooking a meal, after using the bathroom, and after working or playing with your hands.
. Regularly reminding your child to was his/her hands even when dirt is not clearly visible. S/He will need to be reminded that though ones hands appear clean, they may still contain germs as the latter are invisible to the naked eyes.
