NOTE to Parents

Plogging is an activity combining jogging with litter picking. It started in Sweden in 2016 and comes from the Swedish verbs plocka upp (pick up) and jogga (jog).
This activity has now spread to many countries, including Mauritius. It is an eco- friendly form of exercise that keeps our body and planet healthy.
The activity can be done while jogging, walking or hiking. As we jog, walk or hike, we pick up different forms of rubbish. In so doing, we help to keep our environment clean and also exercise through bending, squatting and stretching.
