Ring Toss

Materials Needed: one kitchen paper towel roll, pencil, 7 OR 9 clean used paper plates, scissors, glue, adhesive tape, water colour, paint brush, used gift wrapping paper

Step-1 Preparation of Toss Stand
Place kitchen paper towel roll upright in middle of a paper plate. Trace circle outline with pencil.
Step-2 Preparation of Base for Toss Stand
Cut out the circle in the centre of the paper plate to fit in the kitchen paper roll.
Step-3 Paint paper towel roll using water colour.
Step-4 Flip paper plate with hole upside-down and paint.
Step-5a Cut small slits in bottom of paper towel roll, approximately 2-3 cm apart and lightly fan out slits (see step 5 b).

Step-6 Slide paper plate with hole down paper towel roll and tape down the slits to the paper plate to complete ring toss base.
Step-7 Preparation of Paper Plate Rings
Cut large holes in the remaining paper plates and paint.
Step-8 The Ring Toss is ready.
Step-9 How to play?
Get in pairs or a team of 3 to 4 players. Divide equally the number of plate rings among each player. From a distance of about 2 metres, each player takes turn to throw aiming at the Toss Stand. Enjoy!
