NOTE to Parents

Unhealthy snacks are high in salt, sugar and fats. They should be eaten in small amount and less frequently.
Limit the intake of the following snacks:
• Deep fried foods such as ‘chips’ (French fries) and oily cakes
• High fat foods such as pastries and cream-coated biscuits
• Salty foods such as potato crisps, salty biscuits
• Sweet foods such as lollies/candies, chocolate, jelly, fizzy drinks and commercial fruit juice drinks/concentrates
