YUMMY FRUIT BROCHETTE RECIPE

(i) I help my parents to prepare fruit brochettes.
(ii) I match the pictures with the correct ingredients and equipment.
(iii) I help my parents to prepare fruit brochettes by using the identified ingredients and equipment and by following the given method.
Pineapple2 slices
Peeled mango2 slices
Red/ green grapes8
Peeled banana1
Watermelon1 slice
Brochette stick1
Chopping board1
Knife1
Method:
  1. Use the chopping board to cut the fruits (except grapes) in big cubes.
  2. Thread the fruits in the brochette sticks.
  3. Repeat the process to make 8 brochettes.
  4. Arrange them in a container and eat them as a snack or dessert at home and at school too.
I can eat fruit brochettes as snacks or dessert at home and at school.
NOTE to Parents

• Involve your child in choosing any 3 to 5 fruits (subject to his/ her likes, availability and cost) for the Fruit Brochette recipe.
For safety reason, do not leave your child unattended while preparing the brochettes.
• This recipe will help to increase the consumption of fruits in children.
• The fruit brochette can be given to children as a healthy snack or dessert.
