FOOD FOR GROWTH FOR VEGETARIANS

Kevin and Anna are vegetarian.
I match the pictures with the names of the foods that Kevin and Anna need to eat to grow up well.
NOTE to Parents

• The best sources of protein for vegetarians are dairy foods (milk, cheese, yoghurt), lentils, nuts, beans, including soya beans and soya bean products such as tofu.
• If your child is vegetarian or fasting, at each meal, try to provide one of the above plant sources of protein foods with a cereal food such as rice, bread or pasta
