Tips for a Healthy Packed Lunch
• Vary the food for energy – bread, rice, pasta,
• You can cook extra pasta in the evening and include it as an alternative to bread for your kid’s packed lunch next day.
• Avoid frying sausages, burgers and fish fingers; instead grill them or dry fry them in a non-stick frying pan.
• Involve your child in the selection of foods for his/her packed lunch.
